Brief Bio
Dr. Fleming is a public speaker, educator, and therapist. After earning her Ph.D. from Indiana University, Dr. Fleming joined the faculty at Miami University. She moved to Chicago in 2002 to take a position at Northwestern University. She retired from full-time academia in 2006 to become the Executive Director of North Shore Counseling. Dr. Fleming currently serves as Executive Director of Emerald Springs Equine Services, a not-for profit dedicated to provide Equine Assisted trauma resolution and counseling services to military personnel, veterans, first responders, and front line medical workers. She owns and operates Counseling CE, LLC and maintains a clinical practice.
